Sonbuilt's Project Process
At Sonbuilt Custom Homes, we use the Design/Build Process. This means that we spend time with our clients learning their needs, ideas and goals for their project. We determine the aesthetic, budgetary, legal, structural and spatial parameters of the project through your input, coloured renderings, floor and layout plans, design and supplier options and cost estimates.
Next we develop architectural and electrical drawings complete with material and product specifications and develop a realistic budget based on the CSI (Construction Standards Institute) 16 division format which breaks the construction process down into clearly definable items and processes.
Once everything is approved by our client, we put together a timeline and clear contract before submitting the plans for municipal permits. From the beginning of the project to the final inspection, we manage the full co-ordination of all trades, interior designing and any other important details.
Along the way, there is full freedom to make changes and we will work with you to address your evolving needs and concerns. Our qualified project management team will always be there to provide you with current information so that you can make the most informed decisions possible.
